Final Snowfall Totals For Massachusetts Towns: Patch PM

MASSACHUSETTS —It's Friday, Dec. 18. Here are the top stories Patch has been covering in Massachusetts today.
Following Thursday's nor'easter, Massachusetts has seen more snowfall this winter than it did in all of last winter. The storm, which at times dumped snow at a rate of 1-2 inches per hour in Massachusetts, also broke the previous daily snowfall record for Dec. 17.
We've updated our list of snowfall totals by town. In greater Boston, areas west of the city were hardest hit, with Grafton getting 16.1 inches and Waltham receiving 16 inches, according to unofficial measurements submitted to the National Weather Service in Boston.

The official snowfall total for Boston at Logan Airport was 12.7 inches, in line with most forecasters' predictions of 8 to 14 inches for Thursday's storm.

The two 23-year-olds are accused of harassing a Jewish woman by throwing Bibles, crucifixes, and pornographic photos on her lawn and throughout her neighborhood.
Racist Messages Posted During School Board Meeting
The "vulgar and hateful, racist messages" were sent to the School Committee members, according to a statement Friday from the Acton Board of Selectmen. The Selectmen were asking Acton police to investigate the incident as a potential hate crime.
