Firefighter Injured in Multi-Alarm Fire at Former Anthony's Pier 4

Fire broke out in the early morning hours at the former iconic Boston resident currently undergoing demolition.

BOSTON, MA - One firefighter was injured during a multi-alarm fire Sunday night at the former Anthony's Pier 4 location.

The fire broke out at just before 1:30 a.m. early Monday morning at the former restaurant at 100 Northern Avenue. The building was currently undergoing demolition.

Fire was showing when crews arrived on the scene and it quickly went to two alarms. The fire was on the water side of the partially demolished building. Marine Unit 1 was used to help fight the fire from the water.

One firefighter was treated and transported by ambulance for an ankle injury.
