BOSTON, MA — Punk rock fans unite as Green Day, Fall Out Boy and Weezer bring the “Hella Mega Tour” to Boston in 2020. Tickets are on sale now to see these three bands play at Fenway Park on Aug. 27. Joining them will be guest band The Interrupters in what is already anticipated to be the concert of the year.
In promotion of the upcoming tour, all three groups released singles earlier this September. Green Day’s “Father Of All…” will be included on their 13th studio album of the same name, which is set to be released in February 2020.
Recently released singles “Dear Future Self (Hands Up),” by Fall Out Boy, and “End of the Game,” by Weezer, also come from upcoming albums.

Green Day came out of the alternative punk scene in California's Bay Area. The band's debut album came out in 1990, but it was the third studio album in 1994, “Dookie,” that brought them worldwide attention and sold more than 10 million albums in the U.S. alone. “Dookie” went on to win the 1995 Grammy Award for Best Alternative Album. Since then Green Day has won numerous other awards, including the Billboard Music Award in 2005 for Pop Group of the Year and the 2006 Brit Award for International Group.
Often compared to punk rocks bands such as the Clash and the Ramones, Green Day has sold more than 85 million records around the world and in 2015 was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
