It's National Ice Cream Month: Where To Grab A Cone This Weekend
Wondering where to get homemade ice cream in and around the city? "Boston Foodies" blogger Tiffany Lopinsky shares her favorite spots.

It’s July, which means we’re officially in the midst of National Ice Cream Month. Celebrate this weekend by grabbing a cone at one of the many lovely ice cream shops in and around Boston serving homemade ice cream. You’ll find a few of my favorite spots below.
Christina’s Homemade Ice Cream
Christina’s is an adorable spot in Cambridge’s Inman Square that’s been creating inventive flavors for more than 30 years. Check out their scoop shop for flavors like Coconut Butterfinger, Ginger Molasses, Carrot Cake, Salted Caramel and more.

Gracie’s Ice Cream
A small shop that opened up in 2014, Gracie’s Ice Cream serves up a small yet mighty menu of homemade small batch ice cream at their store in Somerville’s Union Square. Take your ice cream to the next level with one of their toasted fluff cones.

White Mountain Creamery
This Chestnut Hill spot serves some of the most deliciously rich and creamy ice cream in the area. White Mountain Creamery has a wide range of both classic and unique flavors as well as an extensive list of toppings for your cone or sundae. I’m always a fan of loading my ice cream with lots of cookie dough.

Toscanini’s
A lovely Cambridge shop known in the Boston area and beyond for their unique flavors. Some of Toscanini’s most iconic flavors include B3, made with brown butter, brown sugar, and brownies; Khulfee, made with cardamon and nuts; and Green Tea. They’ve recently relocated from Central Square to First Street in Cambridge by the CambridgeSide Galleria.

Honeycomb Creamery
Honeycomb Creamery is wonderful small-batch ice cream shop that opened up its first storefront location in 2016 between Harvard and Porter Square in Cambridge. They’ve become known for their ice cream as well as their housemade waffle cones, which come in three varieties — vanilla, chocolate and matcha!
