Inspired by British blues rock legends like Eric Clapton, Bonamassa got his start in 1989, aged just 12, when he opened for BB King at the Rochester Lilac Festival. Beginning with his “A New Day Yesterday” album in 2000, this legendary artist has released over 30 albums. Twenty of these albums have reached #1 on the Billboard blues charts.

A seasoned musician, Bonamassa loves performing and sharing his music with fans. And when he’s not on stage as a solo artist, he’s collaborating on other music projects, including “SeeSaw” with blues artist Beth Hart, for which they were nominated in 2013 for a Grammy Award.
His latest project is hosting a weekly show on SiriusXM, “Different Shades of Blue with Joe Bonamassa,” where he explores everything about the blues.
