Jose Hermoza at the Pan IBJJF Jiu-Jitsu No-Gi Championship

BTT Boston, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Black Belt, Jose Alfonso Hermoza, earned a silver medal at the Pan IBJJF Jiu-jitsu No-Gi Championship 2021.


BTT Boston, Black Belt, Jose Alfonso Hermoza, earned a silver medal at the Pan IBJJF Jiu-jitsu No-Gi Championship 2021.

The International Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federation (IBJJF) held its 15th Pan American NO-GI Championship at the NYTEX Sports Centre in Texas on MAY 16, 2021. Pans is one of the biggest tournaments of the and always always draws the best competitors. This year allowed for heel-hooks and other knee attacking submissions.

Jose Hermoza is a Brazilian Top Team, black belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and teaches No Gi grappling at Woo Kickboxing Academy of Londonderry. Professor Hermoza received his black belt from Professor Daniel "Mirel" Gazoni at BTT Boston. BTT Boston is the first Brazilian Top Team in the United States and the BTT New England Headquarters.

Professor Hermoza had not been training for 10 months and was over 22 lbs before his return. He came back to teach and train with a clear vision to go back and be able to compete and represent my team once again.

Jose Hermoza earned a Silver medal in the Master 3 / Male / Black Belt / Featherweight division. Professor Hermoza had this to say, "I would like to thank my professor Daniel Mirel Gazoni and all my teammates from Brazilian Top Team Boston for all their help. Thanks to all the students at Brazilian Top Team Londonderry / Woo Kickboxing Academy of Londonderry for their support and for helping me to get ready for this big tournament."
