MA Has 30,000 Active Coronavirus Cases, Officials Believe
Massachusetts reported 2,076 confirmed coronavirus cases and 33 deaths Sunday.

MASSACHUSETTS —State Department of Public Health officials believe there are more than 30,000 active coronavirus cases in the state after reporting another 2,076 confirmed cases Sunday.
The new cases bring the total to 182,544 since the first case was reported Feb. 1. There were also another 33 reported COVID-19 deaths Sunday, bringing the total to 10,098 since the first reported COVID-19 death March 20.
Sunday's report includes the estimate of 30,374 active coronavirus cases in Massachusetts.

There were 737 coronavirus patients in Massachusetts hospitals Sunday. Of those, 159 were in intensive care.
