BOSTON, MA — Maroon 5 will be heading off in 2020 on their North American tour. The tour kicks off in Chula Vista on May 30 and wraps up with a final show on Sept. 17 in Tampa. Maroon 5 started as a high school band in 1994 using the name Kara’s Flowers. After limited success, the band changed its name to Maroon 5 in 2001 and released their debut album in 2002. “Songs About Jane” reached platinum status and won the Best New Artist Grammy Award in 2005.

Winners of three American Music Awards and numerous Billboard Music Awards, including the 2019 Top Selling Song award for “Girls Like You,” Maroon 5 continues to entertain fans around the world. With one hit single after another, the band released their latest single earlier this year in September. The much anticipated, “Memories” charted on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 at number four.

Joining Maroon 5 at Fenway Park are Leon Bridges and Meghan Trainor. Winner of the 2019 Best Traditional R&B Performance Grammy for “Bet Ain’t Worth The Hand,” Leon Bridges is making waves in soul music. If you’re not a fan now, you will be after watching Bridges perform his hit singles “Coming Home” and “Smooth Sailin’.”

Meghan Trainor, well known for her hits “All About That Bass” and “Lips Are Movin,” will bring her own pop style to the stage.
