BOSTON – The MBTA unveiled its 4th of July schedule Wednesday.
All subways lines and the Silver Line will operate on Sunday schedules with rush hour service beginning at 2 p.m; all commuter rail lines will operate on a Saturday schedule; and buses and trackless trolleys will operate on a Sunday schedule.
No fares will be collected after 9:30 p.m.

Also worth noting: MassDOT will suspend all construction work on major arterial roadways from noon Friday to Tuesday morning.
The I-93 south HOV Lane will open at 2 p.m., Thursday, and 1 p.m. and will be closed all day on Monday.

No lane restrictions on the Bourne and Sagamore Bridges between July 1-July 5.
Below is a list of final departure times for commuter rail lines, following the fireworks display on the Esplanade:


With buses and trackless trolleys operating on a Sunday schedule, the following routes will not be in service:

Both the Hingham and Hull ferry lines will operate on a Saturday schedule, while Charlestown service will operate on a full weekend schedule.
The RIDE will operate on a normal Saturday schedule.
