Miserable New England Weather Forecast Up To Christmas
The chances of a picturesque white Christmas are high across New England this year, but the weather for the next week will be ... gross.

They say if you don't like the weather in New England right now, just wait a few minutes. That's certainly true this week as a, well, interesting mix of snow, rain, spring-like temperatures and sunny skies is on the way.
Steady rain and near 60-degree temperatures Monday and Tuesday will melt the remaining 2 feet of snow that blanketed the much of New England last week. Road flooding is a concern, and a hazardous-weather outlook was issued in Concord, New Hampshire, and the surrounding capital region.
"Residents in the Northeast will need all types of outerwear early this week as soaking rain and a surge of milder air will be quickly followed by tumbling temperatures and even some snow," AccuWeather meteorologist Renee Duff said. "Expect a variety of hazards ranging from reduced visibility from rain and fog to icy roadways due to a rapid freeze-up."

The snow returns Wednesday with a light coating of 2-4 inches for most of Boston and northern New England. It will be sunny and cold Thursday and Friday before a mix of rain, sleet and snow hits this weekend. The weather will be much the same for Rhode Island.
The good news? The latest forecast calls for a snowy and picturesque Christmas for most of New England.
