Missing Person Found in Cambridge

Chen suffers from Alzheimer's Disease and disappeared near Commonwealth Avenue and Agganis Way.

Update: "The Boston Police Department would like to thank everyone for their assistance in locating 83 year old Cui Mei Chen. She was found (Friday) evening in Cambridge and will be safely reunited with her loved ones.," BPD said.

BOSTON, MA — An 83-year-old woman with Alzheimer’s is missing Friday, the Boston Police Department said.

The facts, per BPD, are as follows:

  • Name: Cui Mei Chen
  • Age: 83 who suffers
  • Time Last Seen: About 9:15 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 14, 2016
  • Place Last Seen: Area of Commonwealth Avenue and Agganis Way in Brighton
  • Description: Asian female, standing 5'2" and weighing 98 lbs, last seen wearing a dark grey or black jacket, grey slacks with a vertical stripe and a green satchel.

Police advise that Chen, who suffers from Alzheimer’s Disease, does not speak English and does not have any identification with her.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Cui Mei Chen is asked to contact 911 or District D-14 Detectives at (617) 343-4260.
