MASSACHUSETTS — The opening odds for gamblers who want to bet on who will win the 2024 presidential election are out, and Sen. Elizabeth Warren is the early favorite among potential candidates with Massachusetts ties at 28-to-1, according to BetOnline.ag.

That puts Warren just behind Andrew Cuomo and Tim Scott (25-to-1) and just ahead of John Kasich, Mark Cuban and Ted Cruz (33-to-1). The leader is Vice President-elect Kamala Harris (5-to-1). President-elect Joe Biden's opening odds to win re-election were 10-to-1, while outgoing President Donald Trump was at 20-to-1 to win the 2024 race.

Four years ago, BetOnline.ag's odds for Biden to win the 2020 presidential election were 33-to-1, meaning a $100 bet placed in November 2016 would pay out $3,300. But like everything else in the 2020 presidential election, that is controversial. CNN reported this week that Betfair Exchange, the world's largest online betting exchange, has yet to pay 2020 Biden bets, including a $1.3 million wager placed Oct. 29.
