The popular bar is among several to have recently closed on Boylston Street leading up to the Boston Marathon finish line.
BOSTON — The popular Pour House is the latest in a string of longtime bar closures along the stretch run leading to the Boston Marathon finish line.
The owners of the Pour House said Wednesday on Instagram it has sold the Boylston Street bar after 34 years due to the pandemic.
"For the last 34 years, we have prided ourselves with always being open, 365 days a year, knowing you would always be there to support us," the post read. "And so it is so very sad to say..........Sorry, we're closed."
