'The Roaming Foodie' Blogger Joey Calcavecchia's Guide To Boston

This food photographer captures some of the most mouthwatering dishes in Boston and beyond. Check out his favorite spots around town.

Joey Calcavecchia is his name, "roaming the streets to find the best eats" is his game. As the photographer and tastebuds behind @the_roamingfoodie, Calcavecchia scours the Boston restaurant scene and beyond to find the most mouthwatering meals, sharing his deliciously detailed photos with his loyal Instagram followers.

Calcavecchia grew up an avid fan and follower of Guy Fieri and The Phantom Gourmet and always knew he wanted to explore a career in the restaurant industry. After graduating college with a communications and nutrition degree, he eventually found his calling as a New England food photographer, and spends his days traveling the "tight knit, friendly and historical" city of Boston for his next best food find.

When he's not brushing up on his food photography skills or heading to the theatre to see the latest Marvel movie, you can often find Calcavecchia enjoying some Italian food at Sulmona or exploring the North End, his all-time favorite spot in Boston.
