Snow Not Relenting As Another Storm Inbound Tuesday
The third storm in eight days would add to what are already significant snow piles. Temperatures appear committed to remain below freezing.

Several more inches of snow are expected to fall early Tuesday, adding to the growing piles that are likely to stick around throughout a cold week.
A quick-moving storm will approach from the west Tuesday morning before tapering off in the evening. The morning and afternoon commutes are expected to be messy.
Much of eastern Massachusetts is forecast to get 2-3 inches, with 3-4 inches eyed in the northeastern part of the state and west of Interstate 495. The Berkshires could see up to 6 inches.

Even those modest predictions may only add to the misery of some snow-battered parts of the state. Sunday's storm dropped between 5-12 inches, with the higher totals coming in the southeastern Massachusetts. Last Monday's uneven storm dropped 2 inches in Boston and 2 feet in Lowell.
More snow is threatening later in the week, but it's unclear whether it'll make its way to Massachusetts.
