VNA Facilities Recognized for Water Quality, Compliance & Safety
Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection (MassDEP) honored two plants that VNA operates for superior performance in 2020.
Veolia North America is proud to serve as the operations, maintenance and management (O&M) partner to the communities of Gardner and Ashburnham-Winchendon, Massachusetts, helping achieve a record of excellence in drinking water quality, compliance and safety.
MassDEP announced the recipients of the annual Public Water Systems Award, which recognizes exceptional performance among many public water supply systems.
Veolia North America employees operate and maintain the Gardner and Ashburnham-Winchendon (contracted for 20 years) water facilities where they treat and distribute public drinking water. Each year, MassDEP honors the state’s many dedicated drinking water professionals, while acknowledging noteworthy accomplishments that involve excellent water service to the public.

“The Baker-Polito Administration is proud to recognize drinking water providers across the Commonwealth who share the administration’s commitment to ensuring that residents have access to safe, clean and healthy drinking water,” said Energy and Environmental Affairs Secretary Kathleen Theoharides.
As a recipient of the Public Water Systems award, Veolia North America demonstrates a high level of commitment to the safety and health of Worcester County residents.
