Where To Find The Best Beer In Boston
In a city that deems their beer almost as important as their sports teams, this top brew hits a home run.

It's no secret that you can find a quality pint of beer just about anywhere in Boston. From craft breweries selling flavorful IPAs to dive bars where you can get your classic ales at a steal, the city is hopping with some of the best beer choices in New England.
However, there's only one beer that takes the cake — and according to The Daily Meal, that title belongs to the Double Dry Hopped Congress Street from Boston’s Trillium Brewing Company.
The organization just released its list of The Best Food and Drink in Massachusetts for 2018 and here's what they had to say about Boston's number one brew: "With a milky, yellow-orange appearance, this brew is the perfect example of what Galaxy hops can turn into. Each glass simply explodes with flavors of grass, tropical fruits, and the slightest creamy malt (for balance)."

In addition to having the best ale, Trillium Brewing Company was also named the best craft brewery in Boston, focusing on hoppy brews that can be found in both of their Boston locations. If you decide to take a trip to the farm-house style brewery, try the Sprang ale, which is inspired by Germany’s Kölsch, or Night and Day Imperial Stout, which is brewed with Barrington Coffee Roasters coffee for a strong flavor.
Boston took home a few additional beer-related accolades. The Daily Meal named Citizen Public House and Oyster Bar, an upscale tavern known for its oysters, as the best bar in Massachusetts. Meanwhile The Tam, a no frills college bar, got the honors of the organization's top choice of dive bar. Check out which other Boston bars and restaurants made the list of best in state.
