Winter Weather Advisory Issued for Suffolk County; Boston Weather Forecast By Hour

A winter weather advisory is in effect for Suffolk County from 11 a.m. Tuesday through 4 a.m. Wednesday, the National Weather Service said late Monday.

The warning covers Eastern Massachusetts, including Suffolk County.

Between two and four inches are expected, with as many as six inches possible, according to NWS. It's expected to begin roughly during the evening commute, and continue overnight into Wednesday morning.

Snowfall, which should range between two and four inches, is expected to be heaviest during Tuesday's evening commute, and will taper off Wednesday morning. NWS is warning against a potentially slippery evening commute. It's recommending drivers to beware of periods of snow, snow-covered roads and limited visibility.
