2 Displaced In Braintree House Fire

The American Red Cross said its offering the two residents financial assistance after their roof collapsed at their Granite Street home.

BRAINTREE, MA — Two Braintree residents were displaced after a fire Wednesday morning caused their house's roof to collapse.

The fire started around 1 a.m., on Granite Street at a house across from the South Shore Plaza. Fire officials said two adults were inside the home when the fire broke, but they got out safely on their own. No injuries were reported.

The American Red Cross said its offering the two residents financial assistance and long-term relief to help them get through this difficult time.
