3 Braintree Students Named To Boston Globe All-Scholastic Teams

Girls' basketball coach Kristen McDonnell was named the Division 1 coach of the year.

BRAINTREE, MA — Braintree capped off a successful winter season win a few accolades from the Boston Globe.

Gymnast Jack Barrett, and basketball players Jenna Roche and Adriana Timberlake were named to the Boston Globe All-Scholastic Team. Girls' basketball coach Kristen McDonnell was named the Division 1 girls' basketball coach of the year.

Jake Barrett: The former gymnast of the year took second in the all around at the state meet, second on parallel bars, second on the pommel hors and third on the high bar, floor, and rings.

Jenna Roche: A defensive force for the state-champion Wamps, she averaged 12 points, and 4 steals per game this year.

Adriana Timberlake: The junior won the Bay State Conference Carey MVP award and averaged 16.7 points a game this season.

Kristen McDonnell: McDonnell coached the Wamps to their third title in five years.
