Amy Klotz Featured Speaker at 2019 Independent School Conference
The Rashi School Development Team Presented "The Art of Engaging Grandparents" at CASE-NAIS Independent School Conference

and Events at The Rashi School, recently traveled to Philadelphia to
speak at the widely attended 2019 CASE-NAIS Independent School
Conference. Their presentation focused upon "The Art of Engaging
Grandparents." An annual event, the conference showcases inspiring
examples of how independent schools across the country have developed
successful advancement programs.
"Grandparents are an integral part of a school community and play a key part in a school's fundraisingand enrollment success," says Amy Klotz, who resides in Braintree. The Rashi team discussed how
Rashi's small development office expanded its annual Generations Day event to encompass over 300 grandparents and special friends in 2018. With a small budget, the popular event yielded an impressive return. Added Kim Stone, "Each year, both the grandparents and grandchildren
look forward to attending Generations Day. It's a very special event." Kim and Amy also discussed additional grandparent engagement events, how to build lasting relationships and the school's new Grandparent Leadership Giving Circle.
