Asian Diner With Portuguese, Italian Influence Opens In Braintree
The eclectic menu at Belicious Cafe in Braintree features dishes inspired by Macanese, Malaysian, Thai, Italian and Portuguese cuisine.
BRAINTREE, MA — A new Asian fusion restaurant with Hong Kong, Macanese, Singaporean, Malaysian, Thai, and Korean influenced dishes open on Washington Street last month. Belicious Cafe has set up shop in South Braintree Square where the Braintree House of Pizza used to be before it moved to a large space a few doors down, according to Boston Restaurant Talk.
A source told Boston Restaurant Talk the menu is "very eclectic" and also features Italian and Portuguese dishes. Some of the menu items include curry pork chops with rice, laksa (spicy Singaporean noodle soup) and baked Portuguese chicken.
Anyone who wants to try out Belicious Cafe can head to 958 Washington St. The restaurant is open 11:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 11:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. on Fridays, noon to 9:30 p.m. on Saturdays and noon to 9 p.m. on Sundays.
