Braintree Resident Raises Money for Colon Cancer Prevention

Braintree resident James Scott Flaherty (far right, with sunglasses) participated in the Get Your Rear in Gear 5K race Saturday, November 8 as part of Boston Health Care for the Homeless Program’s (BHCHP) team. The race, which was sponsored by the Colon Cancer Coalition, raised money for colon cancer education, prevention, screening and support programs in Boston. BHCHP received $37,500 from the funds raised.
