BRAINTREE, MA — A popular Braintree beer garden is looking for a new home.

The Braintree Beer Garden is looking for a new location after two years on the grounds of the Braintree Historical Society, according to Boston Restaurant Talk. The beer garden has been on Braintree Town property for three years, with its first year next to town hall before moving across the street.

Braintree Beer Garden is moving because of a rent increase and is run by Kay Young, of Kay's Cans & Bottles and Avi Shemtov, of the Chubby Chickpea. In a new release, Shemov said they want to stay in Braintree.

"We love Braintree," Shemtov said. "We love working in Braintree. The Town has been great to us, and together we have brought Braintree to the forefront of cities willing to do cool, family-friendly events like ours."
