Braintree Declares Snow Emergency For Tuesday
As another 4 to 8 inches of snow is set to blanket Greater Boston, Braintree has declared no parking on the streets.

BRAINTREE, MA — Town officials have declared a snow emergency prompting a parking ban, as the National Weather Service updated its snow totals for the region. The majority of the snowfall is slated from 4 a.m. to 10 a.m., and the region could get up to eight inches of snow.
From 4 a.m. to 4 p.m., no on-street parking will be allowed. Police have the authority to tow any vehicle that obstructs snow removal. Mayor Joseph Sullivan has asked all residents to refrain from any non-essential driving during tomorrow's storm so that the Department of Public Works can clears the roads as quickly as possible.
All public schools in Braintree will be closed, so the kids will get their first snow day of the season.

Trash and recycling pick will proceed as scheduled.
Questions or concerns regarding the storm can be directed to the Highway Department at 781-794-8950. The Mayor’s Office at Town Hall will also be staffed throughout the storm.
