Braintree Donation Drive To Collect Food, PPE This Saturday
A food and personal protective equipment drive will be held this Saturday, May 2 from 10 to 12 p.m. at Braintree Town Hall.
BRAINTREE, MA – A food and personal protective equipment drive will be held this Saturday, May 2 from 10 to 12 p.m. at Braintree Town Hall to collect food donations for Marge Crispin Center and equipment for first responders on the front lines of the new coronavirus pandemic.
In addition to food, The Marge Crispin Center is in need of paper products including paper towels. Donations in the form of money or gift cards can be dropped off at the tax collectors drop box. All checks should be made out to The Marge Crispin Center with a memo note of "task force" on the check.
The Braintree Community Task Force is also asking the community for cards, signs and posters with messages of support for essential store workers to thank them for all of their hard work.

The Marge Crispin Center Food Pantry is open Tuesday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. for food pick up. Food delivery is available for residents over the age of 70 or who have underlying health conditions.
Braintree residents who are in need of food assistance and are not currently clients of the food pantry can contact the Marge Crispin Center directly at 781-848-2124.
