Braintree To Hold Pearl Harbor Remembrance Ceremony
Braintree town officials invite residents to Town Hall for a ceremony for the 78th anniversary of the Pearl Harbor attacks.
BRAINTREE, MA — Mayor Joseph Sullivan and the Braintree Veterans Council will hold its annual rememberance ceremony for the 78th anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor. The 1941 attack on the U.S. Naval base in in Hawaii led to the United States' entry into World War II.
The ceremony is scheduled for 10 a.m. Friday in the Cahill Auditorium at Town Hall. The keynote speaker will be former American Legion National Commander John “Jake” Comer.
