Police said they later found Williams driving on Melneas Cass Boulevard and pulled him over. At the same time, another officer was speaking with the victim.
The victim told police him and three others had agreed to meet with Williams. But when Williams approached their vehicle, he pointed a gun at them, demanded cash and the man's car keys. Police said Williams stole cash and the keys and then drove off down Burlington Avenue.

When officers spoke with Williams, they said he kept looking down toward the floor at a large bag containing a green leafy substance. Officers ordered Williams out of the car, searched it and said they found a small black Ruger gun underneath the driver's seat. Police said the gun was loaded with one round in the chamber and another in the magazine.
