Braintree Resident Celebrates 30 Years With Boston Volvo Dealership

Braintree resident, John Higgins, recently celebrated his 30 year anniversary with Village Automotive Group’s Boston Volvo, the largest & oldest Volvo dealer in New England and one of the leading Volvo dealers in the nation! John has quite the success story; he started at Boston Volvo, formerly located in Central Square in Cambridge, on 12/17/84 as a valet, which lasted just two months. He was then transferred to the new and used car department, servicing Volvo’s. John also drove the Boston Volvo limousine for customers on nights and weekends. He was then recommended by management to go to ‘Volvo Training’ as he was a natural fit with Volvo. In the late 80’s, Boston Volvo moved to its current location in Allston and John became the Shop Foreman and he is credited for launching the Volvo Mobile Tech Program which services customers remotely.

John lives in Braintree with his wife Kristin of 27 years and his two children, Joseph and Brittany.
