Braintree Residents Can Sign Up For Phase 2 Coronavirus Vaccines

Officials said they've started gathering info from residents 65 and older and adults with one or more comorbidities to get them vaccines.

BRAINTREE, MA — The Braintree Health Department has been hard at work administering COVID-19 vaccines to the town's first responders and public health nurses for the last two weeks. And now, the town officials announced they are preparing for the state's second phase of vaccinations.

Health officials said they've started gathering information from residents 65 and older and adults with one or more comorbidities that are interested in receiving the vaccine. Scheduling these vaccinations is expected to begin soon.

If you are a Braintree resident and fall into one of the phase 2 categories above and would like to be added to the vaccination appointment registry, please fill out the Vaccination Appointment Registry Form.

If you are unable to fill out the electronic form and would like to be added to the appointment registry, please send your name, date of birth, home address, phone number and email address to covidvaccine@braintreema.gov. You may also call the COVID-19 vaccine hotline at 781-794-8099 and will be prompted to leave the same information on the voice mail.

Once the town is authorized to begin phase 2 vaccination distribution, the Braintree Health Department will contact those in the registry to schedule an appointment.

Town officials asked that residents only fill out one form of communication. Residents were also advised to talk to their primary care doctor or pharmacy after being placed on the list for additional vaccination opportunities.
