Braintree Softball Player Named Boston Globe All-Scholastic

BRAINTREE, MA — A Braintree senior was named among the best softball players in the area.

Erin Barry was recently named to the Boston Globe All-Scholastic softball team. This season, she posted an 11-4 record with an 1.50 ERA and 104 strikeouts. She will play at Assumption next season.

Riya Singh, a Braintree resident who attends the Milton Academy, was named to the tennis All-Scholastic team. She is fifth in the New England girls' U-14 rankings.
