South Shore Weather Update: The Snow Estimates Just Went Up
The National Weather Service says to be on the lookout for up to 4 inches of snow, and others say the area could get up to 6 inches!

The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm warning for the South Shore Wednesday. About a couple of inches of snow is expected to accumulate in the area, with snowfall starting late Wednesday morning and continuing into Thursday afternoon. It could mix with rains at times, so get ready for a heavy, wet snow.
The NWS noted that the northern part of the South Shore is in an area where they have high uncertainty in their snowfall predictions due to where the rain/snow line falls. On the wind front, you can still expect gusts up to 60 miles per hour to sweep across the area Wednesday.
Strong winds especially across the coast and Coastal Plain with our midweek Nor'easter. Peak gust of 45-60mph bring back risk for downed trees limbs and power outages. #7News pic.twitter.com/fRqf2TXffl
