BRAINTREE, MA - The National Weather Service has issued a Coastal Flood Advisory has been issued for Braintree.
A coastal flood advisory is issued by the NWS for minor coastal flooding of the most vulnerable shore roads and/or basements due to the high of the storm tide or wave splash over. The majority of roads will remain passable with only isolated closures.

Within a couple of hours of tonight’s high tide, the NWS says to expect splash over and minor flooding on low-lying roads near the shoreline.
There is no significant threat to life and any impact on properties is minimal.

The advisory is set to start at 9 p.m. Saturday and expire at 1 a.m.
