Compass Medical Announces Navigator Awards

From Compass Medical: Compass Medical, a community primary care provider, today announced its annual Navigator Awards honoring 10 employees for their achievements in exceptional patient experience, compassionate care, innovation, and leadership.

The Navigator Awards recognize an individual or team that has had a profound impact on Compass Medical as evidenced by their dedication to optimizing the patient experience, hard work, and inspired ideas. Nominated by colleagues and patients, the following employees received Navigator Awards for exemplifying Compass Medical’s core values by demonstrating excellence in four key areas:

Exceptional Experience

• Winny Ou, M.D. – Compass Medical Easton Family Medicine
• Dahlia Riad, M.D. – Compass Medical Braintree Internal Medicine

Compassionate Care

• Jill Clement, Medical Receptionist – Compass Medical Physiatry Department, East Bridgewater
• Laurena Lyons, Medical Receptionist – Compass Medical Quincy Primary Care Department

Innovation

“The Navigator Award nominations are based on the efforts of providers and staff who promote lifelong health and well-being to our patients, colleagues and communities,” said Jamie Barber, CEO of Compass Medical. “This year’s recipients deserve recognition for going beyond a job well done by achieving excellence in patient care and by fulfilling the core values of Compass Medical.”

Compass Medical received 135 nominations from employees and another 276 nominations from patients for the four categories of the Navigator Awards. The winners were chosen following a blinded review by a cross-functional panel of supervisors, managers and directors.

Compass Medical also celebrated the following staff with Employee Service Awards for their long-term contributions to the organization:

• 30 years of service – Linda Blanchette, Radiology Technologist in Easton, and Donna Silenzi, Radiology Technologist in East Bridgewater.
• 25 years of service – Melodie Sands, Medical Biller in East Bridgewater.
• 20 years of service – Carolyn Leblanc, Taunton Site Manager in Taunton; Jill Bentley, Compliance Auditor in East Bridgewater; Gail Williams, Nutritionist in East Bridgewater; and Catharine Cooke, Radiology Technologist in Middleborough.
• 10 years of service – Beverly Anderson, Medical Receptionist in East Bridgewater; Kristy Hill, Site Manager in Middleborough; Mary Caputo, Phlebotomist in Taunton; Erin McMillen, EMG Technician in East Bridgewater; Beth Almeida, Registered Nurse in Taunton; Andrea Grieve, Lab Technician in East Bridgewater; and Donna Delano, Accounting Manager in East Bridgewater.
