Easy Pie Restaurant Closes In Braintree

BRAINTREE, MA — A Braintree pizza shop known for its unconventional toppings has closed. Easy Pie held its last day at its Washington Street shop Friday, but plans to keep its Revere location open.

According to Easy Pie's Facebook Page, the decision to close was one of the hardest the owner has ever had to make, but believed it was necessary to take the restaurant's brand where it needs to go.

"This little shop taught me a lot about myself and what I’m capable of," the post read. "I've made a tremendous amount of friends in Braintree through customers and through every single person that stood by me and broke their backs while we built this brand."It is one of the most difficult decisions I have ever had to make but one that is necessary for this brand to move forward and become what it deserves to be."

Ownership went on to thank Braintree for supporting Easy Pie since its opening in 2011 and welcomed Braintree customers to stop by the Revere location.

"To everyone that loves and supports Easy Pie, please do not be strangers, and come and visit us in our Revere Location!

The Revere location is located at 649 Squire Road.
