Hyannis Man Dies After Being Hit By Car
The 61-year-old man was struck by a sedan while crossing Route 28in Hyannis.
HYANNIS, MA — A 61-year-old Hyannis man died Wednesday after he was hit by a car on Route 28.
Around 4:45 p.m., police were called to the 100th block of Falmouth Road after the driver struck the man who was trying to cross the street, police said. Police have not released the man's identity.
The man was rushed to Cape Cod Hospital with life-threatening injuries and then flown to Boston Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.

Both occupants of the car were evaluated by paramedics, but nether were taken to the hospital.
