Johnny Rockets Reopening In Braintree

BRAINTREE, MA — It's been less than two years since Johnny Rockets closed its doors at the South Shore Plaza, but it looks like it's the time away was short-lived The restaurant franchise, known for its burgers, fries and hand-spun shakes, will reopen its Braintree location, according to the mall's website.

Johnny Rockets was a fixture for years in the mall's food court until it closed in January 2018. The restaurant takes aesthetic of classic '50s diners and adds a modern twist.

Johnny Rockets is scheduled to reopen Aug. 16 next to Lord & Taylor.
