Joshua Kaye Foundation opening Little Free Library in Onset

Braintree, MA – June 1, 2021 – Joshua Kaye Foundation is celebrating the opening of their first Little Free Library on Saturday, June 5, 2021 at 11am on the property of DiVito Realty at 247 Onset Avenue in Onset/Wareham. The public is invited to join from 11am-noon to celebrate the installation and opening of the first of several Little Free Libraries to be installed as part of an annual initiative by Joshua Kaye Foundation. Visitors are welcome to start using the library after the ribbon cutting. Goodie bags will be available for the first 50 visitors.

Little Free Library is a nonprofit organization based in Hudson, Wisconsin with the mission to be a catalyst for building community, inspiring readers, and expanding book access for all through a global network of volunteer-led Little Free Libraries. Joshua Kaye Foundation has sponsored the building and installation of three Little Free Libraries for local communities in 2021 and will continue to install and provide books for Little Free Libraries each year.

About Joshua Kaye Foundation: Joshua Kaye Foundation is a 501c3 non-profit, founded in 2014 in memory of Joshua Kaye, of Braintree, who died on July 7, 2014 at age 8. The Foundation celebrates Joshua’s kindness, creativity, and curiosity by developing and enabling thoughtful community-based projects focusing on education, ecology, and the arts, while empowering youth to make positive change in their community.
