MBTA Takes A Buck Off Braintree Parking Hike
The price hike will be $2 instead of $3.

BRAINTREE, MA — You'll still be paying more to park at the Braintree MBTA station, but you won't be paying as much as originally planned.
MBTA General Manager Luis Ramirez announced at Monday's MBTA Fiscal and Management Control Board meeting that the parking fees at the Braintree and Quincy Adams stations will be increased to $9 instead of $10 and will go into effect in September, according to State House News Service.
The change follows criticism from Braintree elected officials over the price increase. Mayor Joseph Sullivan said he found the lack of communication troubling.
