New Restaurant Coming To Weymouth Landing In Braintree
Rivershed in Scituate is opening a second location in Braintree and will bring its take on burgers, barbecue, and craft beer.
BRAINTREE, MA — A new restaurant serving up burgers and barbecue is heading to Braintree's Weymouth Landing neighborhood, following approval from the town's licensing board, town clerk Jim Casey said. The board voted Tuesday to grant the license to Rivershed, a 129-seat restaurant with outdoor patio, opening at 33 Commercial St.
The owners also run a Scituate restaurant by the same name, which features 16 rotating draft lines of craft beer. Rivershed's Braintree location is expected to open sometime next year.
The licensing board's unanimous 4-0 vote added Rivershed to a neighborhood that's already loaded with restaurants. Rivershed will join Bate's Bar and Grill, El Sarape, and Four Square Restaurant and Bar, as well as Passport on the Weymouth side of the landing.
