BRAINTREE, MA — The following obituary for Braintree Recreation Director Nelson Chin comes from Cartwright Funeral Home.

Nelson Keith, age 66, of Braintree, passed away on December 18, 2020.

He is survived by his beloved wife Susan and loving children, Andrew, Amanda and Adam. Son of Betty Chin and the late Neil Y.H. Chin of Boston. Brother to Karen I. Chin of Braintree. He leaves behind aunts, uncles, and many cousins.

In keeping with the Covid-19 guidelines, which include face coverings, social distancing and wait times in line due to temporary limited capacity, relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Monday, December 28th from 4:00 – 8:00 PM at the Cartwright-Venuti Funeral Home, 845 Washington St., Braintree.

A Private Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, December 29th in the Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Braintree Plain Street Cemetery, Braintree. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Nelson Chin Memorial Fund, C/O South Shore Bank, 372 Washington St. Braintree, MA 02184.
