Pedestrian Dies In Braintree Hit-And-Run Crash On I-93

BRAINTREE, MA — A man walking on the highway died in a hit-and-run crash on Interstate 93 in Braintree Tuesday morning, according to Massachusetts State Police.

State Police said the crash happened around 4:25 a.m., on the southbound side of the highway, near exit 6. According to police, the pedestrian was a 42-year-old Boston man, and he died at the scene. State Police have yet to release his identity or why he was walking on the highway.

State Police said they are working to get a description of the vehicle or vehicles that hit the man. No further information was available.
