Railroad Construction To Close Elm Street In Braintree

BRAINTREE, MA — Elm Street in Braintree will be closed to through traffic for railroad construction from Friday to Monday.

Police said the road closure is so the Fore River Railroad Corporation of Quincy can complete a railroad crossing rehabilitation and renewal project.

Detour signage will be in place prior to the beginning of construction. Check out the map below to see where detours are for cars and large trucks:
