The Rashi School in Dedham recently celebrated Generations Day, where over 300 grandparents and special friends shared an afternoon with the students. The day was highlighted by a lively luncheon and meaningful classroom visits. An annual Rashi School tradition, the school celebrates the powerful bond between the different generations. The students were so proud to have family members and friends with them at school – and the grandparents, aunts and uncles were thrilled to be there.
A highlight of the day was watching the interaction between Dayle Cross of Burlington, MA and her great niece Shayna Terry of Braintree. Shayna is a second grader at Rashi. For all the families in attendance, it was a truly memorable day.
