Snow Emergency, Parking Ban Declared in Braintree

During the snow emergency, parking is prohibited on all public roads in Braintree.

BRAINTREE, MA — A Snow Emergency and parking ban will be in effect in Braintree starting at 6 a.m. Thursday and remain in effect until 6 a.m. Friday. Parking is prohibited on all public ways and police are authorized to tow any vehicle deemed to be an obstruction to snow removal.

Trash and recycling pick-up for the remainder of the week will be delayed by one day.

Residents are urged to refrain from non-essential driving during Thursday's storm to allow snow removal crews to quickly and completely clear roads
