Thayer Public Library has been offering 30 minute in-library visits three days a week and curbside pickup on Tuesdays and Thursdays since November 16, 2020. Our community, as well as many communities beyond Braintree, have been vocally thankful that they’ve been able to visit us and access materials for the majority of the past year.
With the steady downward trend in the rate of COVID-19 cases and the State's implementation of the next step in their COVID-19 phasing plan, we are happy to announce a change to the library’s services of suspending curbside pickup and opening to the public on Tuesdays and Thursdays as well.
Beginning March 22 Thayer Public Library is open to the public 5 days a week!

We still require anyone who enters the building wear a mask that properly covers their nose and mouth, and physical distancing and the 30 minute browsing limit be maintained. We provide a sign-in to allow for contact tracing should that ever become necessary.

We are grateful to the community for their support and understanding this past year and to the staff for their work and willingness to operate through the many changes.
