Traffic Alert: Water Main Break Closes Hancock Street

Hancock Street at Mutual Gas Station is closed in both directions following a water main break, Braintree police announced.

BRAINTREE, MA — Hancock Street at Mutual Gas Station is closed in both directions following a water main break, Braintree police announced. The water main break happened on Route 37, and Mayor Joseph Sullivan announced crews are on scene repairing the break.

Residents are asked to avoid the area while repairs are made. Sullivan estimated that repairs will be complete by 6 p.m., Tuesday.
