"Snow covered roadways will cause difficult driving conditions,” the weather service said. “Periods of moderate to heavy snow along with gusty winds will cause visibilities at a mile or less.”

The wind will blow from the north at 10-20 miles per hour with gusts to 35 mph.

In addition to the heavy snow and strong wind, the temperature will be in single digits and the teens.

As has been the case all winter, the snow will have its greatest impact on driving with travel “slow at best on well treated surfaces and quite difficult on any unplowed or untreated surfaces,” according to the weather service.
