Yard Waste Collection Resumes In Braintree April 19

Yard waste bags and bins can be placed at the curbside for pickup on the resident's regular trash day.

BRAINTREE, MA — Spring has arrived in Massachusetts, leading many Braintree residents to take advantage of the warm weather and start clearing out winter debris from their yards. If you've already begun filling up yard waste bags, don't place them at the curb for pickup just yet.

Yard waste collection resumes for the season the week of April 19 in Braintree. Residents are asked to place their yard waste at the curb with their trash and recycling bins on their regular pickup day. Make sure to have your waste at the curb by 7 a.m.

Waste must be in leaf bags or barrels with open tops. No cardboard boxes, plastic bags or tarps will be accepted.

Barrels may not be more than 35 gallon, and there's a 50-pound limit on yard waste.

Spring yard waste pickup goes until May 28.
