BROCKTON, MA — After last year's event was cancelled due to Covid-19, more golfers than ever came to support the Boys & Girls Club of Metro South’s 25th Annual Golf Tournament at Plymouth Pinehill’s Golf Club hosted by Shields Health Care Group on June 22.
More than 275 golfers teed off, breaking records by raising $385,000, becoming the organization's largest fundraiser in history.
“The Boys & Girls Club of Metro South is an organization close to mine and my family’s heart, and we are proud to have been able to tee off for the 25th tournament,” said Tom Shields Jr., CEO of Shields Health Care Group. “The past year has given all of us a lot of time to think about what is important to us, where our values are, and how important community is."
